Our grapes are sourced from the valleys, plains, and highlands of Kurdistan, each shaped by its own natural conditions. We favour organic growing methods without synthetic sprays, artificial fertilizers, or unnecessary intervention, preserving the purity, character, and authenticity of the fruit and the land it comes from.

Each SAWKA bottle is finished with a distinctive cork closure and sealed in wax, giving it a character of its own. Its sleek design carries the SAWKA name engraved in three separate languages, bringing craftsmanship, heritage, and identity together in one unmistakable form.

We avoid industrial processing agents, added sulphites, artificial preservatives, and unnecessary corrective additives throughout production. By limiting what enters the wine, we preserve more of the grape’s original aroma, texture, and character, allowing the finished bottle to remain closer to its natural expression.

No animal derived fining or processing agents are used at any stage of production. The wine is clarified and finished using methods free from animal products, allowing SAWKA to remain fully vegan from cellar to bottle.
